Banana pancakes with chocolate sauce Banana pancakes with chocolate sauce
#reststyleA favourite restaurant dish of mine for breakfast is Pancakes doused with hot chocolate sauce. Infact, my daughter can have this at any time of the day. I had tried perfecting this at home and have come with an awesome restaurant style but healthier recipe, with a great way to add some fruit into the breakfast without too much fuss. Shuchi Jain -

Hawaiian Pancake with Macadamia Nut Sauce Hawaiian Pancake with Macadamia Nut Sauce
I've been hooked on pancakes these days, but this recipe is my masterpiece. They're the ideal pancakes coated with a white sauce. The crunchy texture of the macadamia nuts can really be noticed when combined with the soft pancakes and sauce. That's why it works best if you crush them finely. You could use sugar if you don't have condensed milk. The condensed milk will help make the sauce richer, however. Nutella, Strawberry Jam Oven Pancake Nutella, Strawberry Jam Oven Pancake
Someone gave my youngest daughter a huge box of pancake mix because her three daughters, my youngest 3 granddaughters, love pancakes. I watch them while she works. Well we had a huge package of mix before. The granddaughters decided to "cook" the pancakes. So while their mommy took a shower the kids mixed the pancakes. Well they did it and it got dropped went everywhere. You know when flour and water mixed makes a glue like paste. Well pancake mix does the same paste-like mixture, it dried so mommy had to scrape and scrub everything. I would have made 3 granddaughters do it, lol, well anyway that's part of my crazy life.So I decided to put this to use before a calamity came, lol. So I was talking with my daughter about this package of mix. We was throwing verbal thoughts back, and forth and came up with this brilliant idea. So here it is. It's kinda based on the old time jamcakes. skunkmonkey101 -
Small bean jam pancakes (steamed buns) Small bean jam pancakes (steamed buns)
When I make "Manjyu (Japanese traditional sweet)", I prefer a dough from rice flour and Yam potato to one from plain flour. It's softer and moister. But these ingredients aren't popular out of Japan. It's also little difficult to wrap a bean jam ball with the dough from plain flour (It's better to make it thin because it not so soft or moist). So, I try to think something different. Putting a bean jam ball between 2 small pancakes in stead of wrapping, it is much easier! And I try to use yoghurt and honey to make plain flour buns softer and moister without any oil, butter, eggs.... Yu-Art Kichijoji -
Pfannekuchen (German Pancakes) with Homemade Apple Sauce Pfannekuchen (German Pancakes) with Homemade Apple Sauce
Pfannekuchen is German for "pancake" but they're really different than the fluffy American-style ones. They're basically big, thin crepes and are sooo delicious! I used to top mine with apple sauce and plenty of powdered sugar. In case you can't buy apple sauce or want to make your own, I included how do make it here. Besides apple sauce, some people eat these with fruit, jam, or nutella too ;) Felice -
