Plain Scones Plain Scones
I started making scones a few years ago. I tried many recipes on different sites, and settled on these amounts. You can make your own version of this recipe, such as using 100g of cake flour and 100g of bread flour, or using only milk, etc. It's often said that you have to chill the butter or if the dough is runny you must refrigerate it, etc., but I don't really think about those things. They usually turn out fine as long as the dough isn't watery. However, forgetting to add the baking powder will give a bad result, so make sure you add it. Recipe by Kurapura cookpad.japan -
Plain Scones Plain Scones
I've used this recipe for more than 20 years. If you can prepare from Step 1 to 4 the night before, you just need to cut out shapes the next morning. You can enjoy freshly baked scones even on busy weekday mornings. It's ok to use your fingers to gently bush milk on top of the scones. If you use a brush, it's too much work to wash afterwards. Perfect two ingredient scones Perfect two ingredient scones
You have unexpected friends come over for a cup of tea and you want to make a quick treat. These are super fast and easy, while coming out perfect every time. When you measure the ingredients, by sure to weigh them, not by the metrics eg: cup, mls.You can make as little or ad much as you like. I’ve made 300 serves in one go with ease and no problems. You can make and cook these, and put them in the freezer and heat them up when you want them, and they still come out perfect. Lee Hilder -
