Add colour and flavour to your chapatis using butternut

Ingredients

  1. 500 gwheat flour
  2. 1medium sized butternut
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. Cooking oil
  5. Warm Water

Cooking Instructions

    Start by peeling and cutting the butternut into small cubes. Boil it until well cooked.

    Mash the butternut or use a blender to make paste.

  3. 3

    Add salt, water and 2tbsp oil into a mixing bowl. Put the butternut paste in as well n stir. Add your flour as you stir until it forms a light dough

    Knead with your hands as you add more flour until you get the required consistency.

    Cover with a damp cloth for a while.

    Dust your working space with flour lightly. Cut your dough and start rolling out. Apply oil evenly.

    Cut into strips and make each into a sizeable coil

    Repeat step 7 until your dough is done.

  9. 9

    Now roll out each of them into a round shape (or something close 😀). as you fry on the pan one at a time.

    Repeat until you're done. The result is colourful, yummy n layered chapatis. Enjoy
