Basic Chicken Burger

I love burgers.... its my thing. I feel like when you know the simple basics of making a burger you will be able to explore different recipes to impress not only you but everyone around you.
Top for this - if you are going to use Grade AA eggs, then you will need more breadcrumbs. Otherwise your patty will be too watery.
Using flour is always good alternative - really depends on what texture you are looking for. I feel that when using flour the patty becomes too dry and the burger ends up hard - hence the breadcrumbs. :)

Cara Memasak
- 1
Finely chop onion and garlic
- 2
In a big bowl, place chicken, salt, pepper, LP sauce, onion, garlic and panko breadcrumbs.
- 3
Mix it all together till it comes off the sides of the bowl and it can form a big ball. Break it down to 8 small balls and flatten out your patties.
- 4
In a pan, heat oil and butter together. It's important to use salted butter because I didn't use a lot of salt in the recipe. However you could always add 1 more tsp. :) Fry till golden brown and enjoy!

Simple Spaghetti Simple Spaghetti
Reasons why I love this spaghetti:1. Kids will have no choice but to eat the veggies. ;)2. Simple and quick with barely any fuss. (use a blender for the garlic and onions - blitz it!)3. The sauce (if any are left over) can be used for omelette "bstik" - just re heat in wok and add a couple of sliced chilies.Aina

Chicken Fried Rice Chicken Fried Rice
This Chicken Fried Rice will quickly become one of your favourite go-to lunch meals as it is a simple yet complete meal suitable for everybody. This dish started as a way to use leftover rice, meat and vegetables. The sauteed garlic and onion, oyster sauce and AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning spruces up the rice for a delicious meal.If you’re craving a savoury Chinese-style fried rice, the texture of the rice is very important. It’s recommended to use Jasmine, medium-grain white rice & Japanese-style sushi rice. For best results, the fried rice should be cooked quickly over high heat in a heated wok as this helps prevent the rice from steaming in the pan instead of frying. The sky’s the limit when it comes to homemade fried rice. Feel free to customise the ingredients based on your taste. Ajinomoto Recipes -
Chicken and Century Egg Porridge Chicken and Century Egg Porridge
My comfort food is porridge. When I’m sick or missing home, or just on a chilly morning mood, porridge is my go-to meal. The porridge that I am used to is not the popular bubur McD, but the traditional old school hawker rice porridge with century egg. Some stalls will cook them in a claypot over a charcoal stove which makes the nostalgic frangrance.Century egg has its fan base. It’s either you love it or hate it😂. I am quite a lover. Ruth -
Japanese soft and juicy teriyaki chicken 🇯🇵 Japanese soft and juicy teriyaki chicken 🇯🇵
To make the chicken soft and juicy, I’m adding some sugar when seasoning the chicken. Because sugar works as a natural tenderizer! I learned this tip from Cookpad Japan author.😊This recipe is quick and easy. Basically, fry chicken and add teriyaki sauce in the last step! It’s my family’s favorite and hope you and your family will enjoy too! Looking forward to your cooksnaps ❤️❤️#cppassport Kanaaneko -

Mala Skewers Fried Rice Mala Skewers Fried Rice
My Fiancé went a little overboard in ordering food for dinner last night, so i takeaway the extra skewers that we could not finish. And today for lunch i decided to use the meat from the skewers as one of the ingredients for a quick lunch meal. Audrey J -
Hainan chicken rice cooked in Staub pot 🐓 "So shiok!" 😋🇸🇬 Hainan chicken rice cooked in Staub pot 🐓 "So shiok!" 😋🇸🇬
Having lived in Singapore for around 10 years, Hainan chicken rice is one of my most favorite dishes of all! ❤️I’m always missing the taste in local hawker center, especially Tian Tian in Maxwell food court. My recipe is still very far from that authentic professional level, but I’m confident that this is delicious enough to enjoy at home😁 And it’s so easy too!(You don’t need to prepare a whole chicken or boil it for few hours)Instead of using a Staub pot, you can use a rice cooker to cook chicken and rice too!As for the sauce, please try dark soy sauce if you can buy it as it usually comes together with chicken rice in Singapore. Since it’s not widely available in Japan, this time I made an original sauce(which is also tasty though!).😉*Shiok means delicious in Singlish. Kanaaneko -

Most of Asian people such as Chinese, Korean, Chinese Malay, Chinese Thai, Vietnamese and Singaporean are celebrating Chinese(or Lunar) New Year(Interestingly, Japanese do not celebrate). This year in 2020, new year day will be on 25th January. I made dumplings which are commonly eaten on this celebration day! 大家,新年快樂! I used chicken meat so Muslim people can also try!! #cny2020 Kanaaneko
