These decedant brownies are made with whole wheat flour, loads of walnuts, pistachios and chocolate.

There are no leveners used to make the end result healthier and fudgier.

This fudgy Chocolate brownies are less messy and very easy to prepare, as they can be made in a single bowl itself.

Ingredients

30 minutes
10 servings
  1. 1/2 cupWhole wheat flour
  2. 2-3 tablespoonsPowdered sugar
  3. 100 gramsChopped Dark Chocolate
  4. 50 gramsChopped Milk chocolate
  5. 1/3 cupButter
  6. 1/4 cupCondensed milk
  7. 1/2 -3/4 cupMilk as required
  8. 1/4 cupCocoa powder
  9. 1/4 cupChopped Walnuts / almonds
  10. 1/4 cupChopped Pistachio/ cashewnuts

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

Preheat oven at 180 degree C. Mske sure to keep things ready

  2. 2

Line a baking pan with parchment paper with a over hang, for easy removal after baked.

  3. 3

Keep a pan on heat with some water. Place a bowl that is bigger than the mouth of the pan and doesn't touch the water below. This is called a double boiler.

  4. 4

Add chopped dark and milk chocolates and butter to the large bowl that has been placed over double boiler.

  5. 5

Use a spatula to mix the melting chocolates. The utensils used should be clean and dry while melting chocolate.

  6. 6

Once the chocolate has melted completely add in the condensed milk and mix everything. This is homemade condensed milk

  7. 7

Then add in the sugar and mix

  8. 8

Next add in the cocoa powder, flour and milk alternating, so that the batter doesn't become very loose. Add milk as required. We are looking for thick idli batter consistency

  9. 9

I have mixed cocoa powder flour and milk in 3 portions

  10. 10

Add in the chopped nuts, keeping some for garnishing the top of brownies.

  11. 11

Pour the batter in the lined baking tray and spread evenly

  12. 12

Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top.

  13. 13

Bake for 30 minutes.I am not adding any leveners to make it fudgy, you can add 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder if you want them to be a little cakey. Baking time will change if u add baking powder, you may have to start checking after 20-25 minutes.Remove and cool on a wire rack

  14. 14

Enjoy warm or chilled or with a dollop your favourite ice-cream scoop, they taste delicious anyways.
