Ingredients

  1. 200 gramsblack chickpea (kale chane) soaked overnight
  2. 1 tbspginger garlic
  3. as neededfew coriander leaves
  4. 1big onion sliced
  5. 1medium tomato chopped
  6. 2 cloves (1 inch)cinnamon
  7. 4peppercorns
  8. 1/4 cupfreshly grated coconut
  9. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  10. 1 tspred chilli powder
  11. 1 tspcumin powder
  12. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  13. 1/2 tspturmeric
  14. to tastesalt

    Add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes sautey till tomatoes are soft add coriander leaves mix well remove from heat

    Grind adding water into a fine paste

    Heat oil in cooker add red chilli coriander cumin turmeric salt garam masala sautey for few seconds make sure oil is not very hot

    Add masala paste sautey over medium heat till oil comes out then add soaked chana

  6. 6

    Sautey 1 minute over high heat add water and pressure cook 1whistle in high heat and then simmer till chana is tender

  7. 7

    Garnish with coriander leaves serve with rice roti naan paratha phulka
