Shakkarpara is a crispy and delicious sweet dish snack.which we make in festive seasons .
Cooking Instructions

Take all purpose flour in a mixing bowl add ghee and mix it well with flour.

Now make a dough with required water and make a semi soft dough.this should not be too much soft. Let it cover with kitchen towel and leave for 10 - 15 minutes

Now take a ball sized portion from the dough and make a thick roti.Cut it with knife into squares or diamond shape pieces.

Heat the oil in a pan or kadhai for deep frying. Oil should not be neither low nor high in temperature. Fry raw shakkarpare in the oil on medium heat until light golden and crispy. Now take them out on a paper towel.Fry all raw shakkarpara as same way.

Now take another pan or kadhai for sugar syrup. Add 1cup sugar and 3/4 cup water in it (if you like much sweetness,you can add little more sugar.)

Keep stirring on low flame until Sugar dissolves.add some drops of lemon to clean the chashni. Clean the upper dirty layer

Now add cardamom powder and saffron strands for aroma and colour.

Simmer until you get 2-3 threads consistency.then add fried shakkarpare in the syrup. Stir and toss well these shakkarpare for proper Sugar coating.

Now take out the shakkarpare in a plate and let them cool. after cooling sugar syrup will crystalize.

When shakkarpare become completely cool down then store in a air tight container.
