Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cupflour
  2. 1 1/2 cupwarm water
  3. 1/8 teaspoonsalt
  4. 1/2 teaspoonyeast
  5. 2 tablespoondry milk
  6. 2 tablespoonsugar
  7. 1/2 teaspoonbaking soda
  8. Stuffing1
  9. 1 cupwalnuts
  10. 1 tspcinnamon
  11. 2 tablespoonsugar
  12. 1/2 cupshredded coconut
  13. 2 tablespoonbutter
  14. Stuffing2
  15. 1 cupmozzarella cheese
  16. 3 Stuffing
  17. 7 ozricotta cheese
  18. 7 ozqueso fresco Mexican cheese
  19. 1 tablespoonblack seed

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all dry ingredients not the baking soda

  2. 2

    Place the warm water in the electric mixing bowl while mixing on high add the dry ingredients gradually to form thin pancake mix

  3. 3

    Let it rest for hour dissolve the baking soda in 1 tablespoon warm add to the pancakes mixture and keep stirring

  4. 4

    Using electric fry pan set at 350 degrees pour 1/4 cup dough and cook like pancake on one side only remove to towel until they cool try not to touch at all

    Fill each pancake with nut mixture or cheese file by pressing edges together to make a semicircle

  6. 6

    Brush each on both sides with oil place on a baking sheets and bake at 400 degrees in oven for 10 minutes

  7. 7

    Dip in cold syrup

  8. 8

    You could deep fried the pancake for few minutes then dip it in cold syrup

very interesting recipe! Yesterday I saw Yotham Ottolenghi in a tv program, he was in Israel and in a very famous restaurant in Tel Aviv he made these stuffed with cooked apples, goat cheese and an aromatic herb...
