This curd curry is my Mom-in-law's recipe. It taste best with plain rice, chicken roast, papad and pickle.

This curd curry is my Mom-in-law's recipe. It taste best with plain rice, chicken roast, papad and pickle.
Steps

In a bowl, whisk curd with little water and keep aside.

Cut and keep sambhar onions, green chillies, ginger, garlic and curry leaves ready.

Keep turmeric powder, methi powder, cumin powder, chilli powder, asafoetida and salt ready.

In a cooking pan, heat oil. Add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle. Add cumin seeds. Add the red chillies, ginger, garlic, green chillies, curry leaves and onions and saute till light golden brown.

Add all the powdered masala and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the curd slowly stirring quickly and continuously. Cook till lukewarm.

Serve curd curry with rice/rotis and any side dish (veg/non-veg).
