Ingredients

  1. Fillings
  2. 1/2Fresh coconut
  3. 2 tbspIcing sugar
  4. 2 tbspPowdered Milk
  5. Food colour of your choice
  6. The Dough
  7. 2 cupsFlour
  8. Butter 125g(1/2 simas)
  9. 1Egg
  10. 1/2 cupGranulated sugar
  11. 1 tspCoconut flavor

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and remove the coconut brown cover then great,add icing sugar,milk and food colour of your choice,then mix well.

    Squeeze out butter in to a bowl,add sugar and stir untill the sugar dissolved, add the egg,flavor and mix again,lastly you add flour and knead to form a dough.Wrap the dough with cling film/leather and deflate using rolling pin,let it be smooth and leveled.

    Spread your coconut filings at the edge and roll over,open the leather and cut into bars.

    Arrange on a baking tray and bake in a pre heated oven,until golden brown.

    Coconut cookie bars.

    To make the fillings, after grating the coconut you add few drops of food color, icing sugar and powdered milk then stir.
