Doi Maach Bengali Style Recipe Doi Maach Bengali Style Recipe
This is a traditional dish from Bengal. It is customary to prepare fish and rice for any festival or wedding feast. When serving this dish, lemon juice is squeezed over it or mixed with boiled rice. The fish, prepared with a blend of spices, is cooked in yogurt. The curry is slightly spicy and tangy, and the fish becomes very tender, absorbing the yogurt and spices during cooking.
