Alu Bhate:Mashed potato Bengali style

Ingredients

  1. 1Potato big
  2. As per tasteSalt
  3. 1 bspOil (preferably Mustard oil)as per your preference
  4. as per tasteRed chilli/ green chilli
  5. 1/2 tspJeera whole

Cooking Instructions

    Boil potato in cooker/pot. Best is cut the potato and microwave it for 5 minutes.

    Mash it. Add salt and raw oil.

  3. 3

    Take a tadka pan. Heat some oil up to smoking point. Add whole red chilli. Add jeera. Pour it on Mashed potato. Mix very well.

    This is a very simple and super quick recipe. You may cut off jeera and chilli too.
