Ingredients

  1. Bafla
  2. 1 cupwheat flour
  3. 1/4 cup rawa
  4. 1 tsp carom seeds
  5. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 1 tsp Salt
  7. 2 tsp ghee (oil)
  8. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  9. Dal
  10. 1 cuptoor dal
  11. 1 cupYellow moong dal
  12. 1onion chopped
  13. 1tomato chopped
  14. 1 tsp crushed garlic (optional)
  15. 2green chillies
  16. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  17. to tasteSalt
  18. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  19. 1 tspcumin seeds
  20. 1 pinchastofedia
  21. Tadka
  22. 6-8curry leaves
  23. 2dry red chillies
  24. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  25. 1 pinchAsafoetida
  26. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  27. 1/2 tspcumin seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Mix the ingredients below bafla section and knead a soft dough and rest for 20-30 mins

    Take small portion and make balls and flatten. Boil 6 cups of water and drop bafla slowly in water one by one. They will float once cooked then slow the flame and cook for another 5 mins

    Take aside and let them cool. Cot to four pieces of each and deep fry

  4. 4

    In a pressure cooker take oil add mustard, cumin, turmeric hing, chilles, onion, tomatoes and saute

  5. 5

    Add cooked dal, salt and cook for 2 whistles. Pour tadka over dal before or while serving

  6. 6

    Ready to serve
