Cooking Instructions

For chapdi dough, in a bowl take some wheat flour, add Rava, cumin, white sesame, salt, oil, and with the help of some water make a tight dough and put it a side for 5-10 mins

With the dough take small proportions and press in your palms making them flat. Don’t make them too thick or thin we want it to be medium

Take a pan and heat some oil. In medium heat now fry the chapdis

For the undhiyu, in a pressure cooker, take some water, add all the mixed beans and cook for 3 whistles.

Take another pressure cooker and add all the Vegetables with some water and cook for 3 whistles

Now take a pan and heat oil. Add cinnamon sticks, bay leaf, clove, whole red chilli, and a pinch of hing, chopped onions. Sauté for a few mins and add your ginger garlic paste and sauté for 2 mins

Now add you tomatoes, and sauté for few mins until they are soft

Next add all the spices and undhiyu garam masala. Mix well and sauté for few seconds

Now add all the boiled vegetables, mixed beans, salt and water. Boil for 2 mins

Now add chopped coriander. And 1 tbsp lemon juice

Your undhiyu is ready

Serve hot Chapdi Tavo with onions and garlic chutney.
