I saw this recipe on YouTube and thought to give it a try. It's very healthy and super delicious, so do give it a try. It's a perfect party dessert that you can have ready and store in the refrigerator and serve to your guests on time.

I saw this recipe on YouTube and thought to give it a try. It's very healthy and super delicious, so do give it a try. It's a perfect party dessert that you can have ready and store in the refrigerator and serve to your guests on time.
Cooking Instructions

Take a bowl and take hung curd in it and add honey to it. Mix curd and honey well until you get smooth cream like texture without any lumps in it.

Take a mixing bowl and oats, seeds and nuts in it. You can add any nuts or seeds of your choice. Add honey and mix it well.

Take a pan and add the granola mix in it. Keep the flame low and roast the granola mix for a couple minutes. Spread it on a plate and let it cool down for an hour or two.

Peel and cut fruit of your choice and have it ready so you can assemble your parfait.

To assemble take glass or bowl of your choice. Spread a thin layer of honeyed yogurt on the base. Then add a layer of granola to it. Next add another layer of yogurt then a layer of fruits, top it with a thick layer of yogurt and garnish it with bits of granola and fruit and your parfait is ready. Enjoy.

You might indulge in mince pies, while I would dig into Gajjar ka Halwa for instance in this part of the world. Depending on where you were born and grew up, and where you leave now, the seasonal dishes that adorn your table may be sweet, savoury, sweet and sour or a little bit of sugar and a little bit of spice and all that is nice.When my kids came visiting, I made this creamy, crunchy, crumbly, scrunchy Pomegranate and Walnut Parfait. The recipe is Persian but I am sure it is inspired by the American Parfait. I used Walnuts as I have a really wonderful stash of walnuts from Kashmir. So, this is how recipes change and take different shapes and flavours when each one of us improvises with local ingredients. Instead of whipped cream, I used Greek yoghurt which is healthier and easier to use.For this pomegranate parfait, I have used plain yoghurt and condensed milk. Pre-sweetened yoghurt does not give the same taste.
