Summer two greatest gift is ice cream and Alphonso mangoes. When we combine them what we get is nothing less than a summer blockbuster. This recipe is super easy to make at home.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupheavy whipping cream
  2. 1large Alphonso mango
  3. 1 tspsugar (according to taste)
  4. 1/2 cupevaporated milk (can use condensed milk)
  5. 4-5saffron strands

Cooking Instructions

    Peel and chop the mangoes. In a blender blend the mangoes, evaporated milk sugar and saffron to a smooth paste for 2 to 3 mins.

    Remove the mixture in a big bowl and keep aside.

    Now add the whipping cream in a bowl and and beat it until stiff peak.

    Now combine the whipped cream with the mango paste and mix well.

    Now pour the mixture in a container and place in the freezer for 2 hrs. Cover the container with the lid.

    When the ice cream is half frozen after 2 hrs whip again for a min.

    Pour Back the ice cream in the container with lid and freeze for 4 to 5 hrs or till set. Scoop the Alphonso mango ice cream and garnish with saffron and nuts.

    Serve.
