I needed to use up the milk, and it’s a festive season so made some Chenna Modak.

Today am going to prepare the handmade Modak without using any mould. With this process you can easily prepare well shaped modak .These modaks stay fresh for a day at room temperature and for 2 days if refrigerated. Let's cook .

#FestiveModak is the most popular dish of the festival Ganesh Chaturthi. Generally modak is made with rice flour and coconut stuffing. I made these modak little different from the traditional one, with the flavor of Puran poli which is also a very famous festive dish.

Originally, it was ladoo (the one my mom used to make) but I infused a little of my fusion into it and turned it into modak.
