Ingredients

20 minutes
4 people
  1. 1 cupwhole wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cupbutter/ghee
  3. 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 1 tspvanilla essence
  5. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  6. 1 pinchsalt
  7. 1/4 cupcocoa powder
  8. 1 tbspcorn flour
  9. 1/4 cupmilk at room temperature

Cooking Instructions

    In a mixing bowl, add ghee and sugar and whisk together. Mix well until sugar get dissolved. Add vanilla essence and mix well.

    Now add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and corn starch to it and mix well with hands. Add little milk at a time and knead a dough.

    Dough shouldn’t be too soft, it should be cracky all the way. Rest the dough for 15 mins in refrigerator. Now make lemon sized balls out of it. Flatten them very slightly between palms. Top them with chocolate chips. Keep them in a baking tray using aluminium foil or baking sheet underneath.

    Preheat the oven for 10 mins on 180C, put tray in oven and bake the cookies for 12-15 mins. Now the cookies are ready to eat. Let them cool completely. Sprinkle sae salt on top and here you go.

    Note: we can store these healthy cookies in air tight container for 8-10 days.
