A whole new dimension given to the famous Dessert from Korea- The Gotgamssam. But in this particular recipe, i gave a twist to this original Dessert/snack by freezing the fresh fruit itself and not the semi dried one as used in the original recipe. Try it out for an amazingly new taste par excellence. The original recipe is also on my profile here uploaded long back. You can check it out guys. And this innovative one is no less in terms of taste and texture. Absolutely stunning in looks as well as tastes amazing with a lovely texture. Let's get down to the actual preparations straight away.
Happy Freezing!

Ingredients

7-8 hours
2 servings
  1. Persimmons 2-3 (firm ones)
  2. 6-7Walnuts whole

Cooking Instructions

7-8 hours
  1. 1

Wash and cut the Persimmons from the center taking care not to cut into 2 parts.

  2. 2

Scoop out some flesh from the fruit so that it is easier to roll. Arrange the Walnuts about 3 of them as seen in the picture. In each of the Persimmon, place one whole Walnut, either whole or halved.

  3. 3

Next is to roll them in a plastic sheet very carefully.

  4. 4

Pop in the freezer for about 6 to 7 hours and enjoy it. This is how it looks after freezing. Isn't it wonderful? Even the taste is heavenly. It tastes so very good and melts in your mouth just like a rich ice-cream.

  5. 5

Slice them into 1/3 rd inch pieces and serve cold to family and guests.

  6. 6

If you want to store them, keep them in the freezer and can come handy in serving any unexpected guests at home. Just perfect with a cup of coffee too.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
