Pumpkin Bread Pumpkin Bread
I love quick breads, but some recipes have ended in disaster for me (too dense, too gummy, sunken in the middle, tasteless, too dry, etc.). So, when I find a recipe that yields an excellent and reliable result, it immediately gets put in the “keep forever” list. This is one of those recipes. Truly, the best pumpkin bread I’ve ever made. And it makes two loaves! So you can share one if you don’t eat it all yourself! This recipe has been slightly modified from the Food Network.#GlobalApron - Week 30. Chocolate Babka bread (vegan) Chocolate Babka bread (vegan)
#nonindianBabka is a traditional Jewish cake which is actually a cross between a cake and a bread. It is made of a rich brioche and a chocolate filling topped with cinnamon and nuts. Although it's a time consuming affair but it is worth every bit of effort. It's so delightful, warm and comforting that you will fall in love with it once you take a bite. This decadent beauty with swirls of chocolate and walnut filling melts in the mouth and leaves you asking for more. It's my second attempt to make Babka. First time I made it eggless but it had butter and milk in it. But this time I have made a vegan version of it and trust me I didn't miss anything and the flavours were equally good.
