Dal dhokli is a rajshthani jainy food.
It's very popular and often food.
This is always cooked in rainy
It is a traditional dish of Guajarati cuisine generally prepared with dals (lentils) and wheat flour as base ingredients. It has soft textured dhokli submerged in semi thick dal like lentil gravy and has mild sweet and spicy taste of aromatic spices and crunchy peanuts. Apart from being easy to prepare, healthy and stomach filling, this dal dhokli is capable of carrying entire meal on its own, which means that it can be served all by itself and one wouldn’t care for anything in accompaniment.

Ingredients

  1. For dow(dhokli) -
  2. 3 bowlwheat flour
  3. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  4. 1/2 tspcarom seeds
  5. 1/2 tspsalt (to taste)
  6. 1 1/2 bowlWater(according to tight dow)
  7. 1/2 bowloil
  8. For dal
  9. 1/4 bowlpilled red lentil
  10. 1/4 bowlgreen gram
  11. 1/4 bowlpilled gram slipt
  12. 1/4 bowlPilled peas spilt
  13. Peppers -
  14. 1 1/2 tspred chili powder
  15. 1 tspsalt (to taste)
  16. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  17. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  18. 1/2 tspCumsin seeds
  19. 5_6 curry leaves
  20. 2_3 bay leaves
  21. 6_7 bowl water
  22. 1 tbsprefind oil
  23. For serving -
  24. as required Homemade ghee
  25. 1Lemon
  26. leavesas required Coriander

Cooking Instructions

    1st method_

    First turn - I took a pan & put on the wheat flour and all dhokli's materials.
    And ready to tight dow.
    And coverd the lid for
    15_20 minutes.

    2nd turn_ took a pan and added all pulses and wash well.

    3rd turn_ I took a pressure cooker on d gas mid flown and put oil aNd after some minutes I added mustard seeds, cumsin seeds, bay leaves, curry leaves, red dry chilli 🌶
    And turmeric powder & red pepper and immediately water(spices are not wound).

    When water was boiled well
    I mashed dow and rolled my dow a round & big (size 3_4).
    And that cut a small and mid size rectangle,square shapes.
    And put on the pressure cooker one by one then boiled water for 5 minutes.

    And I added all pulses, salt and coverd pressure cooker's lid and took 5_6 visuals.
    And
    After cold that I opened lid and ready our dal dhokli.

    2nd method_
    I took a pressure cooker on the high gas flam.
    And 5_6 visuals all pulses.
    And turm off the gas flam.

    2nd way I took a pan on d gas mid flam and put the oil after some minutes I added mustard seeds, cumsin seeds, bay leaves, curry leaves, red dry chilli, red pepper, turmeric powder & water 4_5 bowl.

    While our boiled water meanwhile I prepared and mashed well dow and rolled round and big size that.
    After that I rolled a dow and cut the rectangle and square shaped.

    I put on the boiled water one by one and cooked 20_25 minutes well.

    After that, I added all boiled pulses and salt and cooked 15_20 minutes well on the mid flam.

    NOTE_
    When Made a dal dhokli
    So don't leave move the spoon on the dhokli.

    Than ready to our dal dhokli.
    I served dhokli with homemade ghee and lemon
