Ingredients

  1. 100 gms- cucumber
  2. 50 gms- raw mango
  3. 50 gms- Carrot
  4. 50 gms- moong dal
  5. 2nos - green chilli
  6. 1/4 cup- grated coconut
  7. 1 tsp- crushed pepper
  8. 1/2 tsp- crushed cumin
  9. 1/2 tsp- asafoetida
  10. 1 tsp- mustard seeds
  11. 1/2 tsp- oil
  12. as per tasteSalt
  13. as requiredCoriander and curry leaves for garnish
  14. 2 tablespoons- lemon juice

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak yellow moong dal for 15-20 minutes.

    Rinse moong dal, add finely chopped mango, cucumber, carrots, green chilli, grated coconut, salt, crushed pepper, crushed cumin seeds. Mix well.

    For seasoning, heat oil, add mustard seeds...let it splutter well add to the salad.

    Sprinkle lemon juice, add finely chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves.

    Cucumber lentil salad is ready to serve.
