Raw banana is very nutritious.I.have made raw banana kofta and it is very tasty.You can eat it dry kofta also but I have made caramelized onion and almond gravy.Do try this recipe.

Cooking Instructions

Mix raw banana, gram flour, salt, ajwain, red chilli powder, green chilli, ginger and garam masala. Divide it into 10 parts. Make balls out of it.

Heat oil in a pan, and deep fry all the koftas in two batches. First, fry them in hot oil and then on medium heat until golden brown. Keep it aside.

For the gravy - heat 3 TB. spoon. oil in a pan, fry onions and almonds until brown. Let it cool. Now grind onion, almonds, tomato, green chilli and ginger.

In the same pan, add cumin and add the masala paste. Cook it for 5-6 min. or until the masala leaves the oil. Mix. dry spices and saute. Add 11/2 cup water. Cook it for 6-7 min. Add koftas to this gravy, cook for 2 min then switch off the gas.

Your delicious raw banana kofta curry is ready to serve.Serve it with roti or rice.
