Cooking Instructions
- 1
First of all add semolina in a pan and dry roast it for 2 to 3 minutes on slow gas flame. Then add milk powder to this and mix well. After that add milk to this and mix well. Stirring it continuously with a spoon, cook it till the mixture becomes completely dry.
- 2
Now semolina is completely dry, now add ghee, sugar and milk with saffron and mix well.
- 3
Now add 2 drops of yellow food colour, rose essence, dry fruit pieces, cardamom powder and dry rose petals and mix well. Now switch off the gas flame.
- 4
- 5
Now cool this mixture slightly and grease the modak mold from the hot mixture with ghee and press the rasmalai mixture into it and prepare the modak. (If semolina is completely cooled, it will be difficult to make modak from it, so make modak only when the mixture is slightly warm)
- 6
Now our very yummy and tasty rasamalai modak is ready to serve. Please offer this modak to Ganapati Bappa as a bhog in Prasad.
