From this recipe you will make 2 pizza 1 is going to be veg and the other is chicken pizza with lots of cheese so called is cheese burst pizza or double cheese pizza and the best part is it's from scratch.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
For the pizza base take a big bowl and add all the dry ingredients to it and mix it well. As it's instant dry yeast we don't need to activate it separately. Don't add salt and yeast together else the dough will not rise. Add yeast at one plece and salt at another in the flour then mix. I had taken 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1 cup All-purpose flour you can make it in only whole wheat flour or only all-purpose flour. When all the dry ingredients get well combined add water to it.
- 2
Add water little by little and knead it like a dough. After water add oil in batches and knead it. When all the water and oil get combined with the flour mix and it forms a dough then transfer it to the working surface and knead it back and forth by stretch and fold method. Knead it for a good 12-15 minutes. When the dough gets smooth and it stop sticking to your hands and when you prick the dough it bounce back then this means it's ready to get proofed.
- 3
Now in a big bowl keep the dough rub little oil on it so it won't get dry then cover it with a cling film or anything by which no air can come inside. Then cover it with a kitchen towel or and cloth and keep it in a warm place for 30 minutes or warm your oven or microwave and keep it there to proof by this it will take less time to proof. If the weather is cold or humid it will take more time to proof. So, give time to proof according to the temperature.
- 4
After 30 minutes the dough will double in size then remove the cling film. If it comes out without sticking to the dough, then it means the dough has perfectly proof. Now punch it down and cover it with the cling film again. Meanwhile let's prepare for the topping. You can top it with as many veggies as you like of your choice. I made it very simple with the above-mentioned veggies in the ingredient section. Just make sure to cut the veggies in bite size pieces.
- 5
Now punch the dough again and make 2 equal size ball from it. Make smooth balls take one and cover the other one with the cling film. Roll out the ball either with the rolling pin or by hands. The dough is so smooth that you can easily spread it by hands also. You can make either thin crust or thick depending on your likes. Once you roll it according to your size then put it in the greased pizza tray then add 2 tbsp of pizza sauce on it and spread it evenly.
- 6
You can use homemade pizza sauce or store bought whichever you prefer. Now top it with the veggies in your desired way. I combined all the veggies and spread it all over then season it with some black pepper powder, oregano, paprika and salt. Then add shredded mozzarella cheese on top of it. A generous amount of mozzarella cheese as we are making cheese burst pizza. If you want less cheese, you can add less also. Now again season it.
- 7
Season it with black pepper powder, oregano, paprika, red chilli powder, pink and white salt. The amount of seasoning will totally depend on your taste. You can use mixed herbs in place of oregano. Now bake it in the preheated oven at 190°C for 25-30 minutes. Make sure to preheat the oven for 15 minutes on same temperature with both the rods on. The timing may vary depending on the size of the pizza also every oven works differently check on yours.
- 8
My oven takes 30 minutes for large size pizza with thin crust do check on yours as it may take 5 minutes less or more. Once the cheese melts and it gets golden brown colour take it out from the oven cut it in pieces and serve immediately as it tastes best when hot. You need not any sauce or tempering for this pizza but if you like go for it. So our first pizza the veg Pizza is ready now moving on for the second one our non-veg or chicken pizza.
- 9
Everything will be the same in this pizza also except the chicken part. The easiest way is to fry the chicken nuggets cut them into small pieces and add to the pizza or dry out the left-over boneless chicken pieces and use it or simply cook the boneless chicken in 2 tbsp oil with ginger, garlic, salt, pepper red chilli powder and garam masala powder until completely cooked and dry out. Once done allow it to cool down a bit then use.
- 10
Use the same process roll out the dough in thin or thick crust then put it on the greased pizza tray then apply pizza sauce then veggies and chicken followed by seasoning the lots of cheese again seasoning and then bake it on same temp and timing that it 190°C for 25-30 minutes. Once done take it out cut it in pieces and enjoy it hot. In this pizza also you can make variations in topping. You can skip veggies and add only chicken also. You can add mushrooms also along with the chicken.
- 11
By this pizza dough we can make 2 large size pizza 3 medium size pizza 4 small size pizza and about 30 mini pizzas. You can make mini pizza also in the same way.
Do make it once and enjoy with your loved ones.
Happy Cooking and Baking😊
