Any Indian festival is incomplete without sweets. Gulab jamuns are the traditional recipe but over course of time women started working and got less time to prepare all these sweets. So these premixes are a blessing to us that we can serve and enjoy such homemade sweets without spending much time in the kitchen.

Ingredients

30 minutes
2 serving
  1. 1 packetgits gulab jamun(200 gm)
  2. 2 cupsugar
  3. 1.5 cupwater
  4. 1 cupwarm milk
  5. Ghee for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    1 tsp green cardamom powder. Take the gulab jamun pre mix out of the packet. Knead the dough adding warm milk. Cut small portion balls out of it.

    Make small ball and no cracks on it. Heat a kadai adding ghee. Fry on low to medium flame. Add small quantity of balls as they will become large in size as fried.

    Now on another side put a pan add sugar and water to prepare sugar syrup. Fry the balls it dark brown as they will become light in colour after dipped in syrup.

    As all balls are fried, add in a ready and hot sugar syrup. Cover the lid and let them absorb the syrup for over night. Next day you will find that our gulab jamuns are juicy and tasty. Enjoy!!!
