Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 2 cupswhole wheat flour
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 1 tspoil for cooking each paratha
  4. 3/4 cup to 1 cup water for kneading flour
  5. Ghee /oil
  6. For filling
  7. 3/4 cupsattu flour
  8. 1onion finely chopped
  9. 2green chillies finely chopped
  10. 3 podsgarlic finely chopped
  11. 2-3 tbsppickle oil
  12. 1 tbspGreen coriander finely chopped
  13. 1 tbspcarom seeds
  14. Salt to taste
  15. 1 tbsplemon juice

Cooking Instructions

    Combine wheat flour, salt, ghee and water to make a soft dough.

    In a bowl, mix all the ingredients of filling and mix ot properly. Keep aside.

    Divide the dough into 6 equal parts.

    Make a ball shaoe and roll into thick circle. Apply ghee and place the filling in the center. Bring together all the edges and pinch to seal. Rollthe dough into paratha.

    Heat a tawa and place this paratha on the heated tawa. Cook on one side. Apply oil. Cook till brown spots appear. Flip and cook on another side.

    Serve the paratha with pickle and curd.
