Ingredients

  1. 250 gmmushroom
  2. 1 tbspcornflour
  3. 1 tbspmaida
  4. Salt as per taste
  5. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1/4 tspblack pepper powder
  7. 2 tbspoil
  8. 1/2 tbspginger chopped
  9. 1 tbspgarlic chopped
  10. 1/2 cuponion
  11. 1/2 cupcapsicum
  12. 1 tbspred chilli sauce
  13. 1 tbspgreen chilli sauce
  14. 1/2 tbspvinegar
  15. 1.5 tbspsoy sauce
  16. 2 tbsptomato ketchup
  17. 1/4 tspblack pepper powder
  18. Salt as per taste
  19. 1 tbspcornflour+2 tbsp water
  20. Spring onion green part

Cooking Instructions

    Take mushroom wash it properly. Cut it into half or one fourth depend on the size of mushroom.

    Transfer in a deep bowl add cornflour, maida, salt.

  3. 3

    Add red chilli powder, black pepper powder, sprinkle 1 tsp of water if required so mushroom coated well, mix everything well.

    Heat oil in a wok, put coated mushroom in hot oil. Fry until it turns golden brown on medium flame. Take it out and keep aside.

    Heat oil in a non-stick pan add chopped ginger and garlic saute for few seconds. Add onion, capsicum, saute for few seconds.

    Add red chilli sauce green chilli sauce, vinegar, soya sauce, tomato ketchup, black pepper powder, very little salt (we add salt in mushroom coating and sauces also have salt, remember that)

    Mix everything well, add cornflour slurry, give it a good mix. Add water and increase the flame to high. Add fried mushroom, very little salt if required. Add spring onion green part, mix it on high flame. Turn off the flame.

    Transfer in a serving plate. Sprinkle spring onion green part on top.

    Chilli Mushroom is ready to serve, serve hot.
