Cooking Instructions

Put all the ingredients into the bread machine and let it rise for the first time.

Take out the dough, divide it into 4 to 6 portions, and shape into balls. Let them rest for about 10 minutes.

Reshape the balls nicely and let them rise a second time until they double in size. (Use the oven's proofing mode at 95°F for about 50 minutes.)

If desired, gently brush the surface with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15 minutes.

Once baked, let them cool slightly, then cut in half horizontally. Toast the inside surfaces in a toaster or skillet for extra flavor.

For softer buns, place the cut side down in a skillet, cover, and steam slightly.

Add your favorite fillings to make a burger! I like to use a patty, tomato, lettuce, ketchup, and mayo.

When eating, wrap in crumpled aluminum foil or parchment paper to avoid mess.
