Including Broccoli in our diet is good.This Broccoli and potato soup is awesome.I am so happy to share that I recreated this recipe from an Indonesian author Yeos Pitta.It came out so delicious that everybody in my home loved it.Thank you so much Cookpad India for giving this wonderful platform. Ingredients

  1. 1Broccoli (cut into small florets)
  2. 2Potato (peeled and cut into small pieces)
  3. 1Carrot (peeled and cut into small pieces)
  4. 2 tbspButter
  5. 2 tbspMargerine
  6. 3-4 podsGarlic(chopped)
  7. 1small Onion(finely chopped)2 tbsp
  8. 2 tbspAll-purpose flour
  9. 250 mlliquid milk
  10. 250-300 mlWater
  11. 1 tsp+1/2 tsp Salt
  12. 1/2 tspBlack pepper powder
  13. 2 slicesprocessed cheese (grated)

Cooking Instructions

    Dip broccoli in water and salt for 1/2 an hour.Then strain.

    Cook broccoli, potato and carrot in a pressure cooker.Give it a whistle.Let it cool.Keep it aside.

    Heat butter and Margerine in a pan,add onion and fry.Add garlic and cook for 3-4 min on low heat.Add all-purpose flour and cook for 2 min on low heat.

    Add milk gradually and keep on stirring to avoid lumps.Add potato and carrot to the soup.Now add water and cook it for 6-7 min

    Add broccoli and mix.Sprinkle salt,black pepper powder and grated cheese.Mix it thoroughly.Adjust the salt before serving.

    Your delicious and healthy Broccoli and potato soup is ready to serve.
