Chicqken roll is a very famous dish in North India. It is made with the goodness of boneless chicken  combined with various vegetables and spices. These rolls are good meal for iftar or sehri and also make an extremely good option for tiffin or lunch boxes for both adults and kids.

Ingredients

20-25 minutes
3-4 people
  1. For making roll
  2. 1 cupwheat flour
  3. 1 cuprefined flour
  4. 1 tspsalt
  5. 1/4 cupoil
  6. as neededWater
  7. For filling
  8. 300 gmchicken pieces (boneless)
  9. 3 tbspcurd
  10. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  11. 1 tspred Chilli powder
  12. 1/2 tspkashmiri red Chilli powder
  13. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  14. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  15. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  16. 1 pinchorange food colour
  17. 1 tspsalt
  18. 1capsicum thinly sliced
  19. 1big onion thinly sliced
  20. 1 tspred Chilli sauce
  21. 1 tspgreen Chilli sauce
  22. 2 tbsptomato ketchup
  23. 2 tbspmayonnaise

Cooking Instructions

    In a mixing bowl add curd,ginger garlic paste and all powder spices.add salt mix well. Add chicken pieces and coated well. Keep aside for 1 hour.

    For making dough take wheat flour and refined flour in a mixing bowl. Add salt and oil. Mix then gradually add water and knead to make a soft dough.cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.

    Take a pan add 2 tbsp oil heat up. Add marinated chicken and cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes. Then cover and cook on medium flame for 7-8 minutes or until chicken turn soft.

    Now chicken has done transfer in a plate and in the same pan add 1 tsp oil then add capsicum and onion sliced.

    Saute it on high flame for 2 minutes. Add cooked chicken. Add red and green Chilli sauce and tomato ketchup.

    Mix all and cook for 1 minute. Turn off the flame.keep aside.
    Take the dough, Make 5 equal sized balls out of it. On a lightly floured surface, roll one ball into a round paratha (the thickness should be little bit more than the regular chapatis or rotis).

    Add little all all over the paratha dust some flour and roll it as shown in picture. I make it like lachha paratha but You can make simple paratha.

    Toll it again a ball. Dust some flour and roll it again. On a pre heated tawa place the paratha and cook for 30 seconds.

    Flip it and cook from other side. Apply some oil and cooked from both side. make all paratha

    Take a paratha place the chicken filling in the middle. Add some onion slices and coriander leaves then spread mayonnaise and ketchup on it

    Roll the paratha firmly and bind it with a toothpick. Make all rolls and wrap one half of the roll with tissue paper. Served and enjoy.
