This is not my recipe. Nor is the photo. But it is simple,quick and delicious. No over powering lemon flavor like lemon bars but sweet and perfect for any occasion. I don't refrigerate mine enjoy!

Found a recipe on the net and tweeked it a bit. Recipe was originally found in Grandmothers Recipe Book, (a web site from Facebook)Also great with all other berries, especially raspberries.

We are all always hunting for that elusive beast, "the perfect chocolate chip cookie". I'm not going to tell you this recipe is perfect by any means, and as it's written it's "cookie bars", not straight up cookies - although I do have a note at the end for the option of making cookies. I make bars because as a busy mom spreading my dough out in a cake pan and throwing it into the oven is faster than making batch after batch of individual cookies, waiting for my cookie sheets to cool between each batch, and lugging the dough in and out of the fridge to ensure the cookies don't spread ridiculously.What I WILL tell you is that this recipe is my own compilation of my favorite aspects of a variety of cookie recipes I've tried over the years, and we think it's delicious. And be prepared for open gooey yummyness, cause that's ehat you're gonna get with these!

Super easy , and good!I made this for Valentine’s Day for the family, but you can use plain M&M’s or any holiday kind. This is good for any holiday or party, events, cookouts , bbq , pot lucks . I cheated and used a cookie bag mix , because I was being lazy , but I do make the cookie mix from the recipe when I have the time or the ingredients , both ways are great... and easy.

Everything about these cookie bars remind me of Christmas time. From the smell, to the taste! Talk about a heavenly indulgence! I got the recipe from my wonderful mother-in-love. I promise that once you try these, you’ll be hooked! Enjoy!
