Dates and Nuts Truffles | No Sugar & No Jaggery

Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsSeedless Dates (coarsely ground)
  2. 2 tbspPoppy Seeds
  3. 1 tbspClarified Butter (Ghee)
  4. 1 1/2 tspEdible Gum
  5. 1/2 cupAlmonds (Chopped)
  6. 1/2 cupPistachios (Chopped)
  7. 1/2 cupCashews (Chopped)
  8. 1/2 tspNutmeg powder
  9. 1/4 tspCardamom powder

Cooking Instructions

    Coarsely grind the dates and keep that aside.

    Heat the pan, dry roast poppy seeds and remove.

  3. 3

    Melt the ghee fry edible gum until puffy, remove from the ghee and crush.

  4. 4

    Add almonds, pistachios and cashews fry for 2 to 3 mins and then add roasted poppy seeds.

    Add nutmeg powder cardamom powder & gum powder, mix well.
    Now add dates, mix well. Let it cool down.

    Grease your palms take some mixture and roll into a ball.
