Ingredients

  1. 300 gm (1 glass)basmati rice (Dawat)
  2. Soak In two glass of water
  3. 1 cupGreen peas frozen
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1 cupnutri soya chunks
  6. Soak In hot water for 15 mins
  7. 1 medium pieceCinnamon piece
  8. 5-6Cloves
  9. 4 nosBrown cardamom
  10. 8-10 black pepper corn
  11. 1Tej patta
  12. 2 tbsp eachCoriander and pudina leaves
  13. 1 tsp eachGinger garlic chopped
  14. 2 nos slitGreen chilli
  15. Oil 2 tbs +1 tbsp butter
  16. 1 tspGaram masala
  17. 1 Onion big sliced

Cooking Instructions

    Soak rice in double water for 1/2 an hour

  2. 2

    Soak chunks in hot water for 15 mins and drain the water and squeeze it nicely and fryin a little oil till light golden brown and keep aside

    Heat a big pan with oil and add dry masala saute a minute and add ginger garlic and green chilli saute till aroma has come

    Now add onions and saute till golden brown add soya and green peas saute a minute add rice and water by adding salt garam masala and green leaves after adding everything,

    I used microwave for 14 mins otherwise first boil came if using pot slow the heat till water dries up and whole seems on the top of rice

    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with onion chilli raita. One pot dinner is sufficient for 4 people
