To make soya pulao, soak the soya chunks in hot water for 1 minute, then drain and fry them in a pan.

Cook the rice in a pot. Add water to a pot and bring it to a boil on the stove. Once boiling, add the rice and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally. When the rice is partially cooked, drain the water from the rice.

Heat oil in a pan. Once hot, add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, and cloves. After 10 seconds, add chopped onions. After 1 minute, add tomatoes, turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.

Cook the spices thoroughly. After 3-4 minutes, add the cooked rice and mix. Then add garam masala and mix again.

Your soya pulao is ready. Cover and let it sit for 1 minute, then serve.
