Cooking Instructions

To Make dough: Take a mixing bowl. Add the gulab jamun mix and mix with water and milk. Don't knead the dough. Just give a gentle mix. Cover the dough for 5 to 10 minutes.

Now make the balls without cracks. If you feel the dough is little sticky, apply ghee on your palms before making balls.

In the meantime make sugar syrup. Add sugar and water together. Sugar has to dissolve well and bring to boil for 5 to 10 minutes. Add elcachi powder and rose essence. Turn off the stove.

Heat oil in a kadai. Keep the stove in low to medium flame. Drop the balls one by one. Don't dump too much balls and the flame should not be too high or too low. Stir the oil without disturbing the gulab jamun balls.

Cook the balls until it gets brown colour. Once done, drop in warm sugar syrup. Have it after 10 minutes
