作り方

Spread the butter on the inside of each slice of bread.

NOTE: ↔︎ indicate which side goes on which side of the bread

Add a layer of spinach to one piece of sourdough bread.

Add a layer of ham (1 slice cut in half) to the spinach.

Top with a layer of cheese.

Then top with the other piece of sourdough bread.

Lightly oil in a large skillet over medium low heat.

NOTE: Use paper towels to spread the oil all over the pan.

Place the sandwich in a skillet.

Add some weight on top of the sandwich to evenly cook.

Cook 2-4 minutes or until the bottom side is golden brown.

Carefully flip it over, cover and cook for another 2-4 mins.

Mean while, prepare one more slice of bread with toppings.

Move the sandwich to the other side of the skillet.

Use a paper towel to spread olive oil onto the empty surface

Place the sandwich on the other half of the skillet.

NOTE: Place the left side sandwich on top of the right one.

Cover and cook for 2 mins or until the bottom is golden.

Remove the sandwich from the skillet.

Slice it in half if desired, serve.

NOTE: You can also spread Dijon/ country Dijon/pesto/mayo.
コツ・ポイント
Use just enough weight (I use a Dutch oven lid...it's works great!) to ensure each side is evenly grilled.
