Peel and cut eggplants into half.

Make 10-15 holes with chop sticks. Soak in water.

Wipe water well and deep fry until the color gets nice golden brown.

Soak in hot water to remove excess oil.

In a new pot, boil 1000g water and add Japanese dashi pack and cook for 5 min.

Take out the dashi pack and add other soup ingredients.

Add egg plants and simmer for 15-20 min with very low heat.
