I had a lot of overripe bananas and decided to do this instead of throwing them away
Cooking Instructions

Peel and Mash bananas, add in salt and sugar followed by sifted flour and baking soda.

Mix everything well alternating with milk to form a thick runny paste.

Heat oil in a pan and drop the paste then deep fry flipping both sides until done. Do not over crowd.

Serve and enjoy.

You have to use "Plantain Bananas" to get the best result. I have never tried this recipe with any other bananas. So I don't know about it. Use ripe bananas. I've seen people adding sugar to the batter along with crushed cardamom. I like it better this way. Added a pinch of turmeric for the colour 😁 Pen Friend -
