Ingredients

  1. 2 tbspbutter
  2. 1 1/2 cupschives or spring onions, chopped finely
  3. 2 tbspall-purpose flour
  4. 6hands full of terere
  5. 1/2 tbspNutmeg (optional)
  6. Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Prepare ingredients.

    Add butter and chopped chives to wide pan saute till softened.

  3. 3

    Add flour and stir quickly and add cream.

  4. 4

    Add Terere, let it sit for a minute and then stir till well combined.

  5. 5

    As the water evaporates the greens will reduce in half. Add Nutmeg and salt to taste. Stir.

  6. 6

    Cook for 5 minutes and turn off heat.

  7. 7

    Serve as a side dish.
