  3. 8 gFinely chopped Coriander
  4. 1spring onion, finely chopped
  5. 1 tspgarlic paste
  6. 1 TbspGinger paste
  7. 3Water Chestnut
  8. 1 TbspWhite Pepper & 0.5 Tbsp Salt
  9. Store bought dumpling wrappers
  10. Dipping/Drizzle Sauce
  11. 0.5 CupLight Soy Sauce
  12. 0.5 CupChinese Black Vinegar
  13. 1/4Red onion - finely chopped
  14. 3 tspsugar
  15. 2 TbspSweet chili sauce
  16. 1 TbspChili Oil
  17. 1 tspGarlic paste
  18. Topping
  19. Finely chopped green onion
  20. Crispy fried onion bits

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Chop the prawns to a rough ground consistency

  2. 2

In a bowl, add the Chicken, prawn, coriander, spring onion, finely chopped water chestnuts, garlic, ginger and salt, white pepper, mix well until the mixture becomes sticky

  3. 3

Using the storebought wrappers spoon a teaspoon amount in the middle, wetting the corners and folding in half to seal. Play with pleating and different shapes

  4. 4

Add the raw dumplings in a freezer bag and keep in the freezer until ready to cook

  5. 5

Mix the dipping/drizzle sauce ingredients together and keep to the side

  6. 6

To cook the dumplings you can either boil, steam or shallow fry. I choose to shallow fry to add a golden color, in a non stick pan add some olive oil and fry the dumplings in a single layer until golden, add a splash of water and cover the pan to allow the dumplings to steam.

  7. 7

Layer the dumplings on a plate, drizzle with the sauce and top with finely chopped green onion and crispy onion. ENJOY! 🤤
