Concentrated Orange Syrup Concentrated Orange Syrup
Orange syrup without preservatives or additives, made with fresh orange juice that, when diluted with water or soda, surpasses the taste of commercial orange soda.A few more secretsIt also makes a nice drink when mixed with vodka, ouzo, rum, etc. It keeps for up to 2 months in the fridge. If you want to keep it longer, store it in the freezer. You can make lemonade the same way using lemon juice; the only thing I add is 1 vanilla bean, which you can skip. If the syrup crystallizes after boiling, don't worry—just add the juice and stir. This recipe was given to me by a grandmother from the city. flyTranslated from Cookpad Greece -
Pecan Milk Pecan Milk
I invented this recipe to make a quick batch of nut milk for cereal, and a small amount so it doesn't go bad before I use at all. I hate straining nut milk lol so I just leave the gritties in there (because I just use it for cereal anyway) but if you want a smooth drinking milk, you can strain it with a nut milk bag. Lee -
