Ingredients

  1. 1 cupFlour
  2. 2 cupWheat(alkama)
  3. Water(warm)
  4. 1 teaspoonyeast
  5. 1 pinchsalt
  6. Taushe soup
  7. Halfcup of Groundnuts
  8. Big slice of pumpkin
  9. Spinach
  10. Maggi(seasoning)
  11. Dried fish
  12. Beef or chicken
  13. Condiments
  14. Onions
  15. Meat stock
  16. Palm Oil/ Groundnuts oil
  17. Scotch
  18. Salt
  19. Curry
  20. Coriander
  21. Nutmeg
  22. Garlic
  23. White and black pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Mix the dry ingredients and pure the warm water making a semi thick dough paste.

    Cover the dough paste and allow it rise. Make sure you store it in a warm place to let it rise for about 30 mins.

    Start preparing the soup before the dough rise. First put your meat in the your pot, add chopped onions, garlic, nutmeg, Maggi and salt. Add enough water so dat you can get meat stock from the meat, close the pot and allow to cook

    For the mean time sock you dried fish in a warm water. Cut the spinach and wash wit salt and allow to sieve.
    wash your condiments and ground the to patse. Also prepare and ground your Groundnuts. Peel the pumpkin and cook, smashed it after cooking.

    In a medium pot pour a reasonable amount of Palm oil add a small amount of onions add your scotch and grounded condiments, white and black pepper, garlic, coriander, nutmeg, stire, close and allow to steamer for 5 mins

    Add the smashed pumpkin, add the grounded Groundnuts, followed by the washed clean dry fish, add the meat and the stock.

    Add your seasoning, salt, curry and stire. Close it for another 5 mins. Add your spinach and stir and reasonable amount of water if the stock is not enough so that the soup should not be too thick.

    Allow the soup till it's done.

    For the funkaso am sure by the time you finish the soup it has rise enough

    Pour a reasonable amount of Groundnut oil in a pan for deep frying, wait till it's hot enough, wash your hands and scoop the dough making a ring shape in the center of the dough and put it in the hot oil. Fry till golden brown. Serve while still hot with a chilled drink.
