Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1thumb Ginger
  2. 1/2 stalkJapanese leek
  3. 1 tbspSesame oil
  4. 400 mlWater
  5. 1 1/2 tspJapanese dashi powder
  6. 1 tbspSake
  7. 1/2 tspSalt
  8. 1 tbspSoy sauce
  9. 1 dashBlack pepper
  10. 1Ichimi spice

Cooking Instructions

    Julienne the ginger and Japanese leek into a length of 4 cm.

    Add sesame oil and ginger into a pot, and stir-fry until fragrant. Add the leek, and mix well.

  3. 3

    Add water, dashi powder, sake, and salt. When the soup starts to boil, turn down the heat. Add soy sauce and black pepper to adjust the taste.

    Sprinkle ichimi spice if you like.
