Ingredients

30 Minutes
6-8 Servings
  • 2 ClovesGarlic, peeled and finely diced
  • 4Green Onions, finely sliced
  • 7 CupsChicken Stock or Broth
  • 1 CupGinger Root, finely sliced
  • 1Medium~Hot Chili Pepper, finely diced
  • 2-3 CupsMushrooms, chopped or whole
  • 1 CupFresh Lemon Juice (optional)

Steps

30 Minutes
  1. 1

    Put the garlic, onions, mushrooms and ginger in a big sauce pot and put it on low heat for a few minutes, and sauté them.

  2. 2

    Add the whole stock and continue to boil.

  3. 3

    Stir very gently, until all of the ingredients become soft.

  4. 4

    Last add the chopped chili, and stir for another five minutes. Then you can serve the soup while it is warm. Add fresh lemon juice to provide more anti-bacterial effects and improve digestion too.
