This is by no means "authentic" but inspired by different recipes and meals I have had out at Thai and Japanese restaurants. I used sirloin because I was strapped on cash, but filet mignon would work *beautifully* for this recipe. The sirloin was still absolutely delicious! It can be cooked to your desired temperature. I made ours a medium rare. The rice is made for leftovers!!
