    Prepare and fry the onions.

    Add the chopped potatoes and steam lightly.

    Add spices like garam masala and carrots and let them cook for a few minutes.

    Add the beans and make soup if desired.

    Add cabbage and steam lightly.

    Serve with chapati or rice.
