Wash and slice the cucumber as thinly as you can.

Place the cucumber in a bowl.

Optional: slice the onion and add to the cucumber.

Add the vinegar and salt and stir.

Leave it to rest for 15-20 minutes so that the cucumber absorbs the vinegar.

I had a bunch of homegrown radishes. Pickling is the best way to prepare them.For the photo, I cut only some of the cucumbers jabara style. Since the radishes were the elongated variety, I halved them lengthwise. The kombucha gives instant pickles a good taste.
