Ingredients

  1. Halfcabbage thinly sliced rinsed and drained
  2. 3tomatoes, chopped
  3. 1Onion, chopped
  4. 1 tspcumin seeds
  5. 1 tbspcurry powder OR coriander and tumeric powder 1 tsp each
  6. 1 tbsptomato paste
  7. 4 tbspoil
  8. to tastesalt
  9. 2chopped green chillies (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Heat the oil in a sufuria, add the cumin seeds, Once they splutter add onions fry till they brown and chopped chilies and fry for a few seconds

    Add tomatoes and cook till soft, add the spices and mix well.

  3. 3

    Gradually start adding the cabbage ensuring to mix well, sprinkle salt stir well and reduce heat and let it cook giving it a stir very once in a while

  4. 4

    Once ready, turn off the heat.

  5. 5

    Serve with ugali, rice or chapati.
