Rice pillaf with beef stew and saute spinach

Ingredients

10 portions
  1. 1 kgrice
  2. 1 kgbeef
  3. 1 bunchspinach
  4. 6onions
  5. Diced carrots
  6. 5tomatoes
  7. 3tblepoon of butter
  8. Doublecream
  9. Cooking oil
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. Wheat flour

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Sweat the onion in the butter add rice and salt to taste then stir vigorously then add stock then cover with a lid.Allow it to cook for about to 15-20 mins

    Cook the meat until tender.Add the rest of the ingredients into the saucepan stir for the ingredients to mix for about 3 mins then add wheat flour to thicken the sauce then add stock and check the seasoning and later add tomato puree.leave it to simmer for about 30mins

    Add onions in hot cooking oil.leave them to brown till golden brown add spinach then season and serve hot
