Beef curry Beef curry
In case it's not obvious from the fact that I've now posted two recipes for it, I love Indian-spiced beef curry. Something about the combination of warm spices, sweet coconut milk, and tender meat really gets my engine revving. This version is much quicker than the previous one (no marinating required). It also has a slightly deeper flavour, thanks to the addition of garam masala and cumin. Differences aside, I love them both and would happily eat either any day. Robert Gonzal -

Japanese Curry using Curry Roux mix Japanese Curry using Curry Roux mix
Japanese curry is a classic home-cooked dish loved by both kids and adults. With store-bought curry roux, it's easy to make, making it a go-to meal for busy weekdays. Each household often has its own version with different ingredients or secret flavors, adding a personal touch. In Japan, people often add “fukujinzuke” on top of curry. It’s a sweet and crunchy pickle made from vegetables like daikon and lotus root, pickled in a soy sauce-based brine.Katsu curry is another popular version, where a crispy pork cutlet (tonkatsu) is served on top of the curry for a hearty meal.Seafood curry is also delicious — just swap out the chicken and carrots for shrimp, squid, or clams. For a tasty twist, try spinach and cheese curry by topping your curry with sautéed spinach and melted cheese.#japanesefood #CA2025 Yuki Ohtani -

This recipe uses boxed coconut milk, which makes it hard to separate the oil, so we use vegetable oil to help sauté the curry paste. We add color and heat by pounding red chili peppers. Enjoy it with steamed rice or rice noodles for a delicious meal. ครัว กินกันตาย by RelaxTranslated from Cookpad Thailand -
Filipino beef curry Filipino beef curry
Filipino curry was one of my favourite dishes growing up. Traditionally the protein is chicken, but I chose to make mine with beef. Specifically, brisket. The long cooking time required by the meat allowed the flavours to deepen, and the potatoes to turn soft and silky. Following family tradition, I used ready-made, generic supermarket curry powder. Feel free to use a blend such as masala. The proportions below may vary depending on the strength of your curry powder. Robert Gonzal -

Beef tendon that's been cooked until it's meltingly tender in a pressure cooker is so delicious. Curry with lots of chunky vegetables is good, but curry with the vegetables melted into the roux is really tasty too!The key is to properly parboil the beef tendon with ginger to remove any gaminess.
